Safety Day participants view a Flight for Life Helicopter that just landed.

Join us for a day of community engagement and safety awareness at Arvada Fire's highly anticipated annual event, Safety Day! The free event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 10 AM - 2 PM at Arvada Fire's Training Center. Come meet your local firefighters, first responders, and other great vendors while joining us for one of our favorite days of the year.

Check out our event map below to preview some of the highlights, our vendors, and to plan your visit. We have dozens of safety vendors and first response partners attending this year with many bringing either free swag, helpful safety information, and emergency response vehicles!

  • During the NFSA live fire sprinkler demonstration at 10:30 AM, you can see firefighters in action and witness how much quicker fires grow and becomes dangerous in non-sprinklered conditions.
  • Spectators can also get an up-close look at a Flight for Life helicopter. which will land at the Training Center around 11:30 AM!
  • You can also tour vehicles like fire trucks, wildland trucks, ambulances, police cruisers, and more.
  • You can learn about safety through activities at our stuffed animal first aid tent, our ember house, kitchen safety pop-up stove, and more.

Don't forget to grab your stamp passport, visit all vendor booths, and then claim a prize!

Free parking is available in the lot just to the north of the Training Center.
